I am not a micowave cook. We only use the microwave to heat up left overs for lunch--especially when only one person is eating--or to melt cheese on crackers for a snack. But we did find when our old one died after three years that we missed it. We have a limited space on the counter when I wanted to use it, or I may have just purchased a toaster oven instead. This microwave fit nicely into our space and doesn't heat up. I used the defrost feature the other day, and love it. It defrosts at a reduced heat rather than turning on and off like other microwaves. We like this better than the cheapie we replaced. It feels more solid.
